A Long Weekend in: Denver

Below is the perfect itinerary for a long weekend in Denver, CO. Flights to Denver from Nashville on frontier are usually around $100 round trip, and Denver has a lot of outdoor activities, so it is a perfect getaway for a long weekend. My sister lives there, so I decided to take my expertise from all my visits there and give you an itinerary for the perfect Denver long weekend. Of course, this city has a lot to offer, so this list will be missing many great spots.

Thursday:

12 pm: Arrive in Denver (the airport is like an hour from Denver, so get an earlier flight)

  • Go straight to Happy Camper for lunch, you’re hungry! Get a Chambong and a hot honey pep pizza

2 pm: Go to Union Station and Larimer Square to get the quintessential Denver spots out of the way. There is a great bookstore in Union station!

4:30 pm: Check in to hotel and get ready for your night

6 pm -MakFam for dinner. Michelin Asian restaurant with cute decor that is walking distance to next activity. Casual vibe, but reservations needed.

7 pm: Drinks at La Foret (it’s just so fucking cool inside and close to Makfam)

8 pm: International Church of Cannabis BEYOND light show. So cool, cannabis is not smoked inside, so no worries. If you want to really up your experience, sign up to be a part of their church and try to catch a members only event where you can smoke and hang inside the church all night! We went to a friendship bracelet making hangout.

9 pm: Time to go out! Head to Cap Hill for my fav bar hop vibe

Friday:

10 am: Little Owl for coffee and pastry

10:30 am: Meow Wolf- Convergence station

1 pm: River North Arts District (RiNo)

4 pm: Head back to hotel to get ready

6 pm: Red Rocks show! (idk what show you’re going to, but fr fr you should plan your trip around a Red Rocks show - I always do)

10 pm: Go back to hotel!

11 pm: If you’re still hype (somehow) go check out Beacon in RiNo, it’s a really dope bar. If you’re really going crazy Federales in RiNo is fun, too.

Saturday:

10 am: Drive to Boulder, CO (about 35 mins)

10:45 am: Hike the Flat Irons

2 pm: Avanti Boulder Rooftop for lunch (most insane view ever)

4 pm: walk around Pearl Street Mall

5:30 pm: Head back to Denver

7 pm: Dinner at Forest Room5

9 pm: If you’re really feeling crazy again, go to Bar Nun and use their vending machine for a special prize

Sunday:

10 am: Brunch at Fox and Hen

Go home!
