I Scream, You Scream
Ice cream is definitely having her moment right now. There seems to be a new ice cream concept every few weeks. I have gathered a list below of some of these new places and some favorites, so you can give Ice Cream the attention she deserves and is so desperately fishing for.
1101 Chapel Ave #114
Old-school ice-cream parlor serving soft-serve in cones or a silver coupe. If you want something different, they have sundaes, shakes, and melanges - their version of a McFlurry/Sonic blast. The soft-serve comes in Vanilla, Blueberry, Strawberry, Chocolate Custard, and Swirl!
2212 12th Ave S
Def never thought one of the most popular new places for ice-cream would be a sushi restaurant, but here we are! Sushi-San has a cute tiled soft-serve window (giving emerald city vibes) where they serve up vanilla, chocolate, and pineapple soft-serve with your choice of chocolate, strawberry, matcha, or ube shell!

Soft serve and fries are the best combo ever, especially when the fires are flavored and the soft serve has a million toppings. I am 100% guilty of making this my dinner a few times. It’s protein and vegetables. Right?!
129 2nd Ave N
This is the first ice-cream spot on this list that is a favorite, not a new concept. Mike’s has been a staple downtown forever. Next time you’re wandering broadway, follow the scent of waffle cones and look for the 4 foot ice cream cones, and you’ll find some of the best ice cream in Nashville.
512 Lea Ave
If you’ve wanted to try those soft serve margaritas, look no further! Not only does this new concept serve them, but they all of their ice cream has a 5% ABV level! They do warn that this ice cream has the ability to get you tipsy - not drunk. So maybe don’t expect too much from her? She’s doing her best.
5301 Charlotte Ave
Bobbie’s Dairy Dip was built in 1951 and I’d dare to say it hasn’t changed much since then! Everything about it is adorable from the pastel exterior to the brightly colored ice cream dips. Plus, they sell food too like fries and hamburgers. We love Bobbie.

To be completely honest, I have only ever gotten one thing from here and that is thew Unicorn sundae. She is beauty, she is grace. They have many other sundaes and fun flavors, too! Find them at 5 diff locations in middle TN.
1212 Martin St
Muscle Mommies this one is for you. A new concept opening later this year in Wedgewood Houston is Culture Club. They sell frozen GREEK yogurt that promises to be healthier and higher in protein than normal frozen yogurt/ice cream. TBH, I don’t think this is my kind of thing, but look for the review on Audrey’s Guide when it opens, lol!
